  1. Hi Sheila: I have included you in a poetry challenge. If you are not into this sort of thing, please feel free not to participate. It is supposed to be fun. The challenge is to post a poem about what LOVE IS…. to you. The criteria are: the poem is 10 lines long, each line begins with the word love and is only 4 words long. When you have completed the poem post it and list 15 other bloggers you think would enjoy the challenge. You can read more about this challenge at https://lightwalker1.wordpress.com/. In love and light Cheryle

    1. Thank you so much for stopping by and letting me know you enjoyed some of my writing. I haven’t written a short story in quite a bit, I think poetry comes easier to me but I have some up form when I started this blog. I’ll definitely stop by and read your stories shortly. Thank you again.

      1. That’s the thing about poetry, isn’t it? It comes. It used to come to me many years ago, then it stopped for a good 2 decades. And then it came again. And I have no idea how long it will stay. It takes a certain degree of emotional distress for me to be able to write and that is not a state to endlessly be in. Any thoughts on what makes you write?

  6. Thanks for following my art blog, Sheila. I will admit that short of a very few poets (William Blake, Poe, Wilfred Owen, Sylvia Plath and maybe the Romantics), I haven’t followed much poetry but I like your style very much. It reminds me of some of the great stream of consciousness poets…You might like Ted Berrigan and Alice Notley for example (especially Ted Berrigan)…

      1. πŸ˜‰ will like reading yours too. I’m a writer and I can paint/draw but the only poems I ever wrote which were not horrible were dramatic monologues. Maybe I’ll post one for fun some day. It started.. “Herr Schloober poo poos Les Demoiselles d’Avignon…”
