every February is a garden

was this it then?

a shudder

and a cellphone sort of disintegrating

at the bottom of the ocean?

little plaques with dashes, commas, semicolons..

and a tear stain..?

no make ups or do overs?

or round the ways again?

just a 30 second stroke of genius

where “oh” meets “very well then..”

  1. This is why you’re a favorite poet of mine whose work I love to read: multi-layered with many possible interpretations (end of the world, end of a relationship, et. al.) and simple, yet complex. I very much like the dialogue included.
