it looked like it would stop
on Wednesday
but at noon
it all tore open again
I’m growing tired of the rain
but at least I’m growing.

That’s a lovely poem, light of touch and with a quirky spike of optimism and humour at the end. Stylish and deft.

sounds like west Bengal rain (sometimes), 10 days of continuous rain is foretelling of flood I guess.

Thank you very much. I find it a delightful piece in which every syllable is worth its place.

I like that.. “Every syllable is worth it’s place”. That’s pretty poetic in and of itself. π
