the window frames the peaks.
every so often it frames obsidian,
as well.
i sit watching the accidental film.
is it just me
or are mountains strange fellows?
jutting out,
they are the breathing scars of torn earth
seemingly wanting to reach a ceiling
where there is none.
never mind.
the beige interior is comfortable,
not that it would’ve mattered.
the scenery
luckily,
is beautiful enough.

Haha, thank you. Although they’re mountains, not hills.. and purely metaphorical. π

I like this piece, the imagry is beautiful. But, you know what, I’ve read it,and re-read it, and I still don’t think I fully understand. Maybe I’ll come to you again and read these words when I am feeling less dark. Thank you for being you.

Haha, that’s okay. At the very least you like it.. the simplest explanation I can give you is that it’s about a train ride, near the mountains but It’s actually very dark, to me, at least. AT a more “complex” level It’s about life and how we don’t know where it will end but at least we’re being given this beautiful scenery i.e. the human experience, love, laughter, sorrow, and everything in between. I hope that makes sense.. Thank you stopping by. π
