i want to throw myself down sand dunes
and roll past swarms of wasps.
i want to sleep in canopies under dripping leaves
and mimic the toucan’s screams.
i want to feel around wet dark juts
and accidentally bleed over limestone.
i want to glaze the rivers with sweat
and bathe nude under forest brow.
i want to live one thousand more lives
just so we can meet one thousand more times,
until all dust has settled
and we are only black,
obsidian-
unearthed.

I like those lines. They speak for the poem and make visible the invisible power of love. Well done!
