They sit in a room facing a television, watching the screen intently..
she turns to him coolly and says:
“this is the one where we all die.”
“is it necessary?”
“is what necessary?”
“..well, that-that we all die?”
“of course.”
“but-but why?”
“why what?”
“WHY MUST WE ALL DIE IN THIS ONE!?”
“why are you so concerned?”
“because i like being here! i like being alive!”
“that’s exactly why..”
the television blinks.
he turns to watch, forgetting why he asked.
